The face mask recommendation has ended in Jyväskylä, therefore the distribution of face masks to low-income residents will end. The last date of distribution is on 4.5.2022.

During the covid-19 pandemic, the City of Jyväskylä has been distributing face masks to low-income residents since August 2020.

The city also appeals to student organisations to further postpone student events. Jyväskylä recommends extensive use of face masks to all its residents over the age of 15 during the next two weeks.
