Jyväskylä Sinfonia in English

Jyväskylä Sinfonia will perform in two concerts during the summer season, the first of which will mark the beginning of the orchestra’s 70th anniversary celebrations. Both Jyväskylä Sinfonia and Jyväskylä Festival are celebrating their 70th anniversaries this year, and the joint celebration will culminate in the Jyväskylä Festival’s opening concert on Wednesday 2.7. at the Encore Hall in Paviljonki.

Jyväskylä Sinfonia celebrates its 70-year history this autumn with numerous collaborative concerts alongside various orchestras. The festivities begin already in the summer, with the orchestra performing at the opening concerts of both Jyväskylä Festival and Mikkeli Music Festival.

This year marks a special milestone for Jyväskylä Sinfonia as the orchestra celebrates its 70th anniversary. The main concert of the anniversary year will take place on Wednesday, July 2nd, at 6 PM in the Encore Hall of Paviljonki. This unique event will be held together with another birthday celebrant, Jyväskylä Festival, which is also turning 70 this summer.
