A service voucher is one way of organizing the municipality's statutory social and health care services. Getting a service voucher requires an assessment of the need for care or services, as well as a service decision or referral. After receiving the service voucher decision, the customer selects the service provider, and agrees to purchase the service with a service producer of their choice approved by the city. The use of service vouchers is regulated by the Act on Social and Health Care Service Vouchers (569/2009).
Depending on the value of the procurement, invitations to tender published by the City of Jyväskylä can be found on various electronic channels:

What does the past of handicrafts look like in the eyes of modern designers, and what kind of inspiration can be drawn from the collection at the museum? The designers invited to the In Good Hands exhibition have had the chance to explore the extensive archives, founded in 1879, of the Friends of Finnish Handicraft at the Design Museum. After this they have created their works in dialogue with the archive materials.

Climate change is shaping our environment at great speed and at the same time is defining the future of world in which we live. Our youth could not alter the course of climate change when it was still possible, and this brings up important questions: Do we have the right to feel scared, angry or hope? Who is responsible for the future? What can we demand from others as well as from ourselves? What kind of future will our generation have?

Extensive exhibition by renowned landscape photographer features around 40 works, many of them taken in the age-old landscapes of Central Finland.
Pekka Luukkola creates intense photographs that feature seashore or lakeside views. The blue-toned pictures taken at dusk also include the element of fire, tracking the path of someone moving on the water, presented as a photographic trace. The calm pictures invite us to consider the passage of time and the importance of nature to humanity.
Like It Or Not, Blue Anthropometries is a participative installation consisting of blue ink pads along with the request for visitors to put their thumbprints on dedicated wall, or not.
The installation alludes to Facebook and the tyranny of liking. Like It Or Not is not an affirmation but an interrogation, questioning our ability to choose. It evokes thumbprint signature both as a biometric technology and as a necessity within illiterate context: in our all-icon age where the image tend to stand for the word.

The exhibitions feature internationally renowned designers and craftsmen to celebrate the free movement of ideas and thoughts in the crafts world. Technology and even game design have been added alongside many traditional skills, giving new insights into techniques already forgotten.
