Children and Youth

The orchestra offers for pupils and students a fine possibility to enjoy music and become acquainted with the orchestra in different occasions. There are free rehearsals, group prices for concerts, and interesting school visits on offer. Please choose the most attractive alternative and come to listen to live music!

Open Rehearsals

School children groups can attend orchestra's rehearsals free of charge on the certain days in Paviljonki. Please, make reservations in good time by email: petra.lujala [at] jyvaskyla.fi.

Group Price for Pupils and Students

There are a special group price for school children and student groups for symphony concerts in Paviljonki. The price is 7 €/pupil (a group of min. 10 pupils). The amount of tickets is restricted.

Student Prices

Student price for concerts is 15 €.

There is also Presto - Student Express Ticket, which is 7 €. Available only for concerts in Paviljonki one hour before the concert (not 21.-22.2. or 8.5.). 

Preferentially priced tickets will be sold if there are still tickets left for the concert. Cannot be booked in advance. The discount is personal and is granted against a valid student card.
