A program filled with gems of classical music!

The 80th birthday concert of internationally acclaimed conductor, Professor Okko Kamu, opens the summer season at Art Center Salmela in Mäntyharju.

The soloists of Jyväskylä Sinfonia are soprano Emma Kajander and tenor Raimo Sirkiä. The concert’s program guide is actor Seela Sella, with texts written by Raija Oranen.

Before the concert, at 13, Salmela’s opening celebration will take place on the Park Stage. The event includes the opening of the exhibition, a greeting from the municipality of Mäntyharju by Juho Järvenpää, a speech from the main partner by Eero Lehti, and an address by the artist.

The concert lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

A concert ticket also includes admission to the art exhibition.
